Western Sunset
Growing up on the east coast of Australia I had never seen a sunset over the beach like Alaina had been describing to me for years.
With the sun nose-diving into the horizon we fanged it to the lighthouse at Cape Naturaliste only to find out it was 3kms of walking track to the coast. Plan B was Yallingup beach where we made it with ample time to be eaten by mozzies and see the sun set over the coast.
It was as gorgeous as Alaina described it.

awesome shot :-)
Moving to Sydney (Vancouver is west coast)I was so stoked on being able to see the *sunrise* and after many all nighters studying at uni would head up to the Gap and watch the sun come out of the ocean.

Yeah, funny, I look at that, and my east coast brain just keeps going "sunrise".

Hanks guys.
@gleddy hah yeah I remember a few uni sunrises, though I saw more working 9pm-5am at the pie shop opp the Coogee Bay. We used to have "church" on the beach with the CBH glassies. They'd bring the beer, we'd bring the pies and the beach supplied the backdrop :)
