Hi Bryan, roughly yes. I do not take Dunbar's number to be a given, but I do find that I feel different social dynamics in the group sizes given as circles above.

However it does not mean (paradoxically) that there are only 38 people in the 12-50 circle. There can be more than that, depending on the number of contexts I'm in on that social distance. Also Dunbar's number has to do with 150 connection in a survival-mode group. That's hardly the situation I'm in, which allows for more connections in different circles of this chart.

Like I said, it's all mainly intuitive. I find these circles work for me to demarcate different types of social dynamics in my relationships.
