This lens is Just a peach, that dusty appearance, and oh so sweet...

Thanks for the comments and mails, ill get to see what youve all been up to...

Note :- im really impressed with the Vue Scan scanning S/W.. Im kicking my self for not getting it earlier. I have been thinking about it for a year or so. Guess im going to have to do some rescanning..

Kodak has gone TiTs up.

Kodak has gone TiTs up.

This is the ls the last of the roll for the moment, the rest are boat pictures.. so evening in Trowbridge. ~pardon the scratches, just think of them as jet trails.

Im really pleased with this camera and lens combination. The meter/ exposure is pretty spot on. So Happy days...

There we are talking About Ektar, and I hear Kodak has just gone bust !! Oh well, On a bright note, went in to Pound land for some batteries. and lo and behold i found a pile of kodacolor, im really dubious, but i bought a roll. Bet its crap.. but ill give it a go £1 per roll..

Have a good week end. Im off to Daz boat...

New Camera & Ektar 1st shots. Toned and textured....

Ive admired a lot of textured work on fliker. It seems to add a consistency to a group of images. And its been really usefull to reclaim some damaged negs. On this image ive applied a texture. I think its given it almost an etched look. certainly there a fundamental difference to the feel of the image, and a substantial increase in the visible content (data) of the image. ( struggling for words here ) and thus possibly the eye brain has more to assimilate
.
Is it still a photo ? has it been basterdised by textures ? Do we care ??

Yashica FXD Zeiss 45mm Tessar. Ektar 100. rendered to mono, toned textured and vignette added.
