Photos taken at Bean Hollow State Beach (CA) and in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan (Home of Mt. Fuji). Inspired by a comment my artist friend Mayako Nakamura made to a shot I posted yesterday. "I love the contrast between the long thick wave and the playful splashes. It reminds me of Hokusai:-" image1.shopserve.jp/www.adachi-hanga.com/pic-labo/hokusai... as well as a comment made by Bonnie (when looking at an earlier version) that I should incorporate an image of Mt. Fujj that I took while visiting Japan in March 2008.
