playgroundbuilders.org - community spirit

This initiative, started by local Whistler businessman Keith Reynolds, aims to provide children in conflict zones all around the world access to play equipment.
It costs CA$4000 to build each playground, Keith's vision is to raise enough money and awareness to build 500 playgrounds around the world. Currently, 15 playgrounds have been built.
These images are from the fundraising event held on Friday evening 26 October 2007 at the Maurice Young Millenium Place venue in Whistler, BC. Also shown on the night was Michael Franti's inspiring documentary - "I Know I'm Not Alone"
