Inside a secluded forest by the edge of the magnificent Rangitikei
River with it's sheer cliff faces lies the secret Ohingaiti Boulders! When wandering into the bush area you see one boulder…. then another
and another!! It is quite amazing how all of a sudden all these
perfectly round shaped, and large boulders appear in just one
particular spot! Some split in two, others with trees growing out of
them, yet others still perfectly round, and all of them covered in a
rich green moss.
A very magical and mystical place, I got lots of photos of these
Mystical Boulders on a recent Jet Boating trip up the Rangitikei
River.
