Welcome to Steve Gillmor's wacky world! I post this as a loving piece of humour. I listen to the Gillmor Gang/Gillmor Daily as often as it comes out and love every minute of it. I just find some of Steve's pronouncements rather strange though.
Not all of the statements made above are things that Gillmor has said - there is a certain amount of poetic licence in the later ones, but I think it gets the flavour pretty well.

funny to come across this tonight... just spent the evening hanging out with mr. gillmor talkin' about Life, the Universe & Everything. he definitely has a unique perspective :)
(also quite a bit of a storied geek in the music world as well)
