Walt Disney World Resort
Magic Kingdom
Main Street, USA
I almost titled this shot "The Aftermath", but I thought that was far too negative for such a scene. I call it the aftermath because it was this rainy street where I almost lost half of my shots from this trip. You see, while I was shooting Holiday Wishes!, my memory card filled (a mistake I have not since made--I only fill them 75% at most now, and change well before any 'burst session' when the memory card is close) and I quickly fumbled to change it. As I did this, I dropped my full memory card onto the ground. After the show ended, I realized I didn't know where the full card was located.
Panicked and surrounded by people try to move every which way, Sarah and I used the light from our phones to scour the ground. She found the card, which surprisingly still worked. Later I cleared some room on the card and used it again (another mistake I wouldn't make again...using a card that may be damaged) due to our lack of memory-space, and lost several files, this among the files lost. To make a long story short, a file recovery program saved the day, bringing back this file from nowhere-ness, along with several other files.
To get to the point, be careful with those memory cards!
