Using the Tokina 11-16 was a really ballsy move in Universe of Energy, if I do say so myself. The scenes are almost as dark as your darkest dark ride, and the only saving grace is that the ride vehicles move fairly slowly. Never one to shy away from a challenge, I kept the f/2.8 Tokina mounted to the D90, hoping I could get some good shots by pushing the ISO limits.
I wanted the UWA so I could get some up and close of these Apatosauruses in full as well as some shots with the ride vehicles in them (which really intrigue me, for some reason). I didn't do it perfectly, but I was pleased with the results, especially given the equipment limits.
