Taken from the top of the falls where the water goes over the edge. Minnehaha Falls is a fairly small falls--about a 50 ft drop--but being in an urban setting it gets lots of visitors. The park that it is a part of is pretty extensive and runs all the way to where Minnehaha Creek flows into the Mississippi River. While it isn't entirely wild, it is one of my favorite places to go for a stroll.

I used to trail through this fall to get to the Mississippi River as a kid. I was just home last week, but unfortunately, my visit was short and didn't get a chance to walk through the park.
