I shot this with the 50mm f/1.4 at ISO 6400 using the D3. It was really pretty dark!

I think I was shooting at f/1.6 or so. And this was the brightest part of the stage!

Thanks. These guys definitely rocked it. Unfortunately, I missed out on a lot of the leg kick madness, as that was all going down at the edges of the stage – in the dark!

Man, it must've been REALLY dark.. :) The Whigs are great! I used to go see them all the time when I was in college in Atlanta (they are from Athens, GA - not too far away), and it's great to see them gaining more recognition!

Yup, it was pretty dark, which is the case with a lot of openers at the Pageant, unfortunately!

I'd heard great things about the Whigs, but hadn't had the chance to catch them live until now. I was really impressed, they rocked out. Hopefully I should be photographing them when they open for the Kings of Leon on Monday.

Did you ever catch Drive-By Truckers when you were in Atlanta? Another great band from Athens.
