wow! this is the guitarist from He Is Legend too... i've seen them once and he used to headbang a lot and his glasses never ever seemed to be about to fall or something... hahaha

how you made it wirelessly on the D3 without the flash of the camera? wifi?

I triggered an SB-600 through commander mode with an SB-800.

I think this was the first time I'd used a wireless flash setup for a gig aside from the shoot with DJ Paul van Dyk, and it was an interesting experience. PVD didn't move around much compared to a rock band!

Getting the key light off-camera was essential for this shot. I'd definitely try it out some time!
