iRobot Create vs. Roomba Red

The Create is very similar in its plastics to a Roomba Red.
At first glance it looks like a bleached, hollowed-out Red.
This similarity is not just skin deep.

The 6-32 size mounting holes around the cargo bay area admit standard machine screws for mounting of your projects. All the mount holes have metal inserts, not plastic, so are sturdy enough to attach things that weigh something. The distance between the four "topside" mounting holes are 20mm on a side and 222mm across.
