poblin: when i have a child...lucie will definitely be part of the nursery decor. that way they will never be afraid. monsters will be a normal part of life.

mk: wool combusts at 600 degrees, and there is no way the tiny battery operated led light inside will reach that. i also built a wire frame around the bulb for structure to keep her sitting up and to keep the bulb off of the wool :)

LOL, I was exactly the same!! I wanted my girls to all be little wednesdays. I love Lucie...But when you have a child I bet good money you won't put Lucie in the nursery. For some reason babies are born with the amazing ability to scan facial expression, it's a survival thing, see scary thing..scream like hell for mummys protection and believe me Lucie would make even a day old baby cry! Thats how cool she is!!

no it's inbuilt, if you make a frown at a baby, they cry, they have no experience of a frown being bad, it's nature, I think that if you made a bad face at baby all the time they would not associate it with love, they may withdraw.
