There was a basketball tournament at the West 4th Street courts (colloquially known as The Cage, says Wikipedia). I took a whole bunch of shots, but this was on the only good one. I like this one a lot, though. :)

It's great! I think part of what I like about your photos is that you aggressively cull, and post only the really great ones. I'm just too sentimental to do that much, though I'm trying to get better -- my default is to just post all of them. :-P

I have the shots from a split-second before and a split-second after this, but they're not as good. This is probably where the fast continuous mode of my new 40D came in most handy. :)
