Charcoal, white China marker, tortillon. Sketch paper, newspaper, cardboard. I am an advocate for species of birds oppressed by the general population. There is nowhere senseless hate can get you.

rabbits don't make noises

rabbits don't make noises

Actually that's a lie, yes they do make noises, silly. Once when my dog caught a rabbit and chewed most of its skin off, it was making these weird squeaking noises. I was 14 and I had no idea what to do, so I sat in the middle of the woods with the dying animal in my hands, pressing my right middle finger against its body at regular intervals in order to simulate some sort of heartbeat. I didn't want it to feel alone? In retrospect, it would've been kinder to kill it quickly, but I'm a big softie and couldn't have done something like that. Right anyway!

This is a sculpture I did in my beginning ceramics class. The body is painted with black and white underglazes (usually mixed together), the insides of the ears are painted with a soft pink underglaze, and the eyes are painted with a normal black glaze.

Gentlemen.

Gentlemen.

The Spy starring as the Smoker in my Left4Dead/Team Fortress 2 crossover. Why do I only rarely remember to sign finished sketches?

Other sketches so far in this series:
the Heavy as Boomer

The Spy and the Smoker are probably copyright Valve or some crazy haps like that.

Drawn with a standard HB mechanical pencil and a tortillon.

Perhaps a Few Too Many Sandviches.

Perhaps a Few Too Many Sandviches.

Or maybe just a zombie virus. Inspired by the Left4Dead Dustbowl map, I'll be drawing TF2 versions of all the Infected bosses; this is the Heavy starring as everyone's favourite fat, vomiting zombie: Boomer! It's just a sketch, but if I get around to it, I'm planning on drawing colour versions in Photoshop.

working with a tablet!

working with a tablet!

This is the first time I've seriously attempted to make something with my tablet. Finally, I don't have to feel like a spoiled bitch for having a wacom!

Photoshop painting using mostly the standard brush tool and smudge tool.
