Erie "B" Shovel in action! In order to view this Flickr video, you'll need to install the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player. This is a steam-powered Type B Erie Shovel, built by Ball Engine Company of Erie, Pennsylvania, in 1927. I filmed it on 8 August 2008, at the annual convention of the Historic Construction Equipment Association in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. If you think it looks cool, wait until you hear how it sounds.

The Dover Steam Show

Great video, I was there on Saturday myself, watching Rusty's shovel working was great. The man who saved and rebuilt this machine was from Ohio, he used to bring it to Dover Steam Show.
