My Grand Mother's place in Nutakki

My Grand Mother's place in Nutakki

The way a house should be. Sky is the roof and you sleep while gazing at the stars.

A house where you can:
-grow a few vegetables
-domesticate a buffalo & play with its cute calf
-pump water when you need
-make a creeper crawl over the roof, that works as AC in summer!!
-use few resources and Do beautiful things

A few years back, before it was rebuilt, there wasn't this much concrete and stone. The house was made of bamboo, clay and palm leaves. A big black buffalo and its cute-calf roamed around.

I lived with my grand-mom and great-grand-mom. Two wonderful women, who only cared for things that made me happy and I played all day, every day :)

There were a lot of kids in the neighborhood, we ran bare foot, climbed trees, played in mud, caught small fish with bare hands, plucked sugarcane from the fields, tortured insects, rode on bullock carts, built weird toys, chased butterflies...

Reading Sakshi

Reading Sakshi

Sakshi, the Telugu news paper, is beautifully typeset and has a pleasant design. Best of the newspapers designs, i have seen so far.

This paper was launched to neutralize the bias of Eenadu towards Telugu Desam party. It neutralizes the bias by being pro-congress :)
