Getting the New Year Started Right: Long, Thick Meaty Stick
One classic way to bring in the New Year in Belltown: a Seattle Style dog.
A Seattle Style dog is, at it's base requirement, is any hot dog with cream cheese. I'm quite partial to the variation which is a veggie dog with grilled onions, Sriracha and BBQ sauce.
These vendors have to take the brunt of the Ferry & Freeway (Seattle's "Bridge and Tunnel" equivalent) crowd of semi-amateur drinkers and semi-professional clubbers every Wednesday through Saturday night. New Year's Eve is their Superbowl.
