Made a quick birthday gift for Brandi, a set of coasters I always thought looked nice. I used the Springtime Coasters pattern, but preferred to keep them all one color. Job status: approved.

Had a nostalgia dinner at Yaffa with Meg on a rainy night, and got off the bus to catch the subway at Union Square. Felt like walking up the park instead of through the station. I like when the pavement shines everywhere.

how I spent my summer vacation
I read Moby Dick during about half of this summer, which is something that's taken me almost ten years of trying to do.
It is a bit overwhelming. And it is all right. I'm pretty glad to have done it. Also there was a t-shirt at the Borders closing by my office.
