My friend / neighbor / schoolmate / coworker's spouse Laura. She mentioned a few days back that she had a new haircut that she wanted to show off, we wound up shooting some in her living room this evening. This one doesn't really show of her hair, and is in some respects and outtake in that one of the flashes in what would have been a two-light setup didn't fire. But I liked the dramatic/mysterious look of it, so this is the one I'm keeping.
Strobist info: a single (*gasp*) 430 in shoot-through umbrella at 1/4 about 2-3 feet from the subject. She is about 5 feet from a white curtain, falloff made that nicely grey. No other light worth mentioning, presumably a bit of bounce from the indoor setting providing just a hint of fill.
