Needless to say, the kids loved
On our first day in Red River,
we took a 4 hour snowmobiling

Our guide let us take a break at

The snowmobile rental company
provided cold-weather overalls,
boots and helmets. We managed to
keep warm, except our faces

Christmas eve to catch some
photos of the sunrise behind our
Our cabin was next to the river
that runs through town, so I got

The steam rising off the river
in the mornings became ice
crystals on the nearby bushes

The snow was spectacular the
first few days, before warmer
weather began to melt it
Samuel decided that he had to
have this hat. He promises to
wear it to school on cold days.
He'll be the hit of first grade
On Christmas eve, the Chamber of
Commerce and a local church have
a living nativity and re-enact...
