Walk Against Warming 2005

The Walk Against Warming has the purpose of helping to raise awareness that global warming and climate change is a reality, and that we can no longer keep our heads stuck in the sand.

In 2005 it was held on Saturday December 3 and walked from King George Square in Brisbane (Queensland, Australia) to Musgrave Park about 2 km away. It was a hot day and everyone was glad that there was a theme of painted umbrellas.

The day was organised by D3 (December 3). The groups name has been changed toClimate Action Brisbane and we'll be doing the walk on Saturday 4th November this year (2006).
