Websense Tames Tame The Web

Out of the blue, Websense started blocking Tame the Web today. It's really funny because I was going to look at Michael's post on five things to consider when beginning a library website redesign. Dangerous stuff there, Michael! I went down my Bloglines list, and nothing else is blocked.

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

There ought to be some sort of prize for getting one's site blocked by a filter--sort of like Banned Books Week for the web.

No need for you to be sorry! Websense is pretty willy-nilly about what gets blocked. I have no idea why your site would be blocked. Maybe check in with other folks who work at libraries with filters and see what the scoop is. I'll check next time I go into work. If it's still blocked, I'll be interested to hear if you appeal to Websense and how it goes.
