The galley hot plate awash with delicious pancakes! I ate my fill, plenty melted butter lemon juice and a sprinkling of sugar!

lost at sea

Some of the thousands of names in bronze at the memorial at Plymouth Hoe to those sailors lost at sea during WW1 & WW2. The ones that didn't make it back, staggering numbers of names row after row. Some with a poppy beside, a relative remembering a loved one. Gone but not forgotten.

An unconnected toilet bowl stands on the footpath in Plymouth. I used to have nightmares about sitting on a toilet in the middle of the street when I was a kid, only the weather was nightmarish yesterday.
Pissing rain........
