We live in South Hyde Park. The neighborhood is nice, but close to some bad elements. We're probably going to buy the new door tonight.

(And, the kitty lives at my mother-in-law's -- we have a doggy at our house.) ;)

typical "kick-in". there is a brass cover you can get that goes around the dead bolt. Also, be sure to get a deadbolt with a one inch throw, like an Arrow Lock deadbolt
