Extreme Skateboarding (atop a skyscraper)

Extreme Skateboarding (atop a skyscraper)

Extreme Skateboarding:
If you were really going to try a trick like this, with or without a net, what good would a helmet do you?

This project was inspired by a tutorial in Beginner's Photoshop Vol. 1 titled Photoshop Atop a Skyscraper. Of course, their tutorial was inspired by this famous photo taken by Charles Ebbets. The turtorial showed how to superimpose your family eating lunch way up high but I thought it needed a little more oomph to make the image really grab the viewer.

Just as Charles Ebbets' overall work was a commentary on worker conditions in the 1930's this composite is a commentary on the sensationalism of extreme sports.

What do you think?

The skateboarder is actually jumping off a ramp at ground level but it really works as an aerial shot. what do you think?
