As Proud as a Peacock.

As Proud as a Peacock. by tim ellis.
If Peacocks are renowned for their vanity, how vain is the bird that pretends to be a peacock?

This Peacock Pheasant at Twycross Zoo is my Photo Friday entry this week

The Peacock, according to Legend, was created when Hera placed the eyes of her watchman, Argus on the tail of the bird to honour him, after Hermes killed him to steal away Io for Zeus.
