I made this quilt for my dad in January 2007, while he was in the hospital. The centers of the blocks are the leftovers from his favorite pair of shorts. Everything else was in the stash-- I used up every piece of navy blue for the sashing, and some of the bright colors are pieced to get a long enough strip. This makes it more fun for me to look at.
