Design for maemo website

Proposed front page layout and design for www.maemo.org, bear in mind that this is work in progress, thus feedback is welcome, encouraged and necessary part of the design :-)

To take full advantage of Flickr, you should use a JavaScript-enabled browser and
install the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player.

is n800 much better than the 770 series? I own a n770 for a while but using it most of time only as a navigation system.

ps. you don't know me but i know you for about 7 or 8 years now, i think :) these days i'm on a mac most of time but once i WAS a fanatic linux user.. hehe

Heh :-) Small world etc..

N800 is somewhat faster and can take more pages in the browser at once, due to more memory etc.. but for the important stuff (web browsing) both work OK.

Nice, clean, no-nonsense layout. I would move the 2nd level navigation above the splash though (so it's relatively close to the first level nav.).
