      Not too crazy about this icon. I preferred the light blue 'g' they used since summer.

      i guess i can see the design elements at this size, but the favicon is just but ass ugly

      Yeah, I hate the new favicon personally. Every time I am looking for Google in my browser tabs, I always skip over the actual Google ones because the favicon looks like some blog's tacky late-90's favicon. :P I overlook it with a sense of "that's not the right one, that's [whatever random blog post] I was reading".
