Hasani born December 8, 2008 to Monifa and Oscar Jonesy at the San Francisco Zoo. Monifa rejected Hasani so the zoo stepped in and raised him for the first 4 - 5 months the zoo hand raised him but they selected a surrogate mother named Bawang who has proven in the past to be a good Gorilla mother. Bawang has proven to be an excellent surrogate mother to Hasani.

Back in March I had foot surgery for a dislocated tendon and an extra muscle in the foot and was unable to walk for almost 2 months on my own. I'm in the process of recovering from my foot surgery with Physical Therapy and recently have started to walk on my own but still have a lot of pain while I walk.
Since I am starting to walk again my husband and I decided to go up to Sacramento on Saturday and we hit the zoo. The Red Pandas was the highlight of our zoo trip. I'm really rusty on my photography since I have not done much photographing since December do to my foot so hopefully soon my photography will be back to normal.
