:- Crunch

Belton House, Grantham, Lincolnshire. View from the rear. Taken as low as I can take it. One problem with the Nikon D90 is that the LCD display is fixed. It needs to be able to move to take these shots as I don't want to lay on the floor.

Edited while listening to another 70's/80's favourite, Japan and Quiet Life. I always admired Japan, very arty, a different style to most people. I followed David Sylvian into the late 80s, remember 'Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence'? He also have some great solo albums, Brilliant Trees being one of the best. I have no idea what happened to him since then.

:- Bleach by Rob Warde

:- Bleach

My niece posing for the camera. She loves having her photo taken. Unfortunately i didn't have a lot of time last night, it was a bit of a rush job and the lighting was awful. I love the Bleach Bypass effect....according to Wiki.

Bleach bypass, also known as skip bleach or silver retention, is an optical effect which entails either the partial or complete skipping of the bleaching function during the processing of a color film. By doing this, the silver is retained in the emulsion along with the color dyes. The result is a black and white image over a color image. The images usually would have reduced saturation and exposure latitude, along with increased contrast and graininess. It usually is used to maximal effect in conjunction with a one-stop underexposure.

All I can say is....whoa!!!!!

:- Aunt by Rob Warde

:- Aunt

Abi with her nieces at Belton House. They would only let me photograph them if they were out of focus. Hence the 35mm Nikkor and a very shallow DoF.

:- Belton House by Rob Warde

:- Belton House

Belton House, Grantham, Lincolnshire. In the UK we have a fabulous organisation called the National Trust which maintains properties and parks all over the country. The majority of which were gifted to the country by poor aristocrats in lieu of death duties or unpaid taxes. This building has featured in a BBC adaptation of 'Pride and Prejudice'.
