    DURHAM, N.C. -- Duke University Medical Center researchers have discovered that activation of a particular brain region predicts whether people tend to be selfish or altruistic.

    Would be great to do further research on this and compare the brain scans of people involved in volunteer work with yuppies on a 60 hrs. week.

    Or, even better...I would love to see a comparison between the fMRI scans of a neo-conservative war monger with stakes in Halliburton and an anti-globalism activist, casually teargassed while marching through Quebec City.
