Seattle Everlasting

Seattle Everlasting

Please enjoy another view of the Emerald City taken in mid-January. The light from the setting sun against the Columbia Center was remarkable this particular evening.

The one and only Hong Kong, taken on that fine morning back in August 2010, before the city had awakened to the new day.

Crossing the Streams

Crossing the Streams

Here is a look at downtown Seattle a day after all the snow started to melt.

The Emerald City is back in business!

Victoriously Yours

Victoriously Yours

I might have to start calling today “Archive Friday.” Seattle got “slaughtered” with more than six inches of snow. (Yes, I know, but one inch of snow is enough to put the Emerald City in paralysis. Seattle is not accustomed to snow by any means. I’ve been under house arrest on the steep hill that I live on since Tuesday -- hahaha, no complaints). We accumulated more snow on Wednesday than our annual average amount of snowfall each year.

Regardless, it has given me some time to browse through old photos, delete unwanted jpegs, keep the raw files, etc. While sifting through the archives, I fell upon this image. It’s the British Columbia Parliament Building, situated along the harbour of the capital city, Victoria. I took this photograph during Thanksgiving weekend in 2009, when I met master HDR photographer, Brandon Godfrey, whose quality of photography has never stopped topping itself since I crossed paths with him on flickr around this time three years ago. Cheers to you, Brandon. May your photography lead you to further success with each image!
