These images are selections from the Ministry of Defence web site where they are, clearly, part of the propaganda war. The inclusion of these photos here is not ina spirit of triumphalism but for the empirical evidence they reveal: namely, that some Tiger fighters were not in uniform though others were. This pictorial evidence complements verbal descriptions provided by the testimony of Tamils who survived or escaped in the months extending from October 2008 to May 2009, among them George Master and Daya Master.
