A5 CUT THE WRONG FOLD?

A5 CUT THE WRONG FOLD?

If you inadvertently tear or cut along both long sides of the envelope in error, you'll end up with a landscape book instead of portrait. This in itself isn't an issue, it still works.

When I do this, usually because I am rushing, I tend to make one long cut along three panes so that I can tear off full windows as I have done here. This way I can dispose of the complete rather than carry it around unnecessarily.

A5 STEP TWO

A5 STEP TWO

Step Two - after slicing along the two short edges and ONE of the long edges, you should get this. Now fold the paper so you have 8 windows or panes. You might want to double fold so that the paper bends easily in both directions

A5 STEP ONE

A5 STEP ONE

Step One - you receive an A5 envelope.
Cut it, or slice with a knife, along three edges so it will open out into an A4 piece of paper, as in A5 opened.
If you slice along two of the long sides in error, no problem, this still works (see, A5 long rip)
