'rubberschmuckie'... Here on Flickr, graciously gave me permission last year to use his beautiful photo as a resource for a thread painting
Finally, I have gotten past the quick sketch that I had done from the computer and have painted fabric, cut , pasted and basted everything together ... What you see here is the base on which my sewing machine and threads will 'paint'. I know you have waited a while,Wayne ... I just hope I will do your work justice !

Winter- Jan 2012 - Wellington County, Southern Ontario.

One of the back roads I love to travel and Winter 2012 has made it easy to get out and look around.
Could manage to make it onto my 'to-do' list.

I tried to focus in on the red and it was a very dull day ... the next photo is a bit better.
Winter in my part of Ontario has been pretty much non-existent this year.
