Immediately eye catching and the composition seems reasonable enough - but there's too much of one colour; if you'd got a shot of someone standing in the open doorway, for example, it would work much better.

@Wananga - why not just print it out and hang it on your wall? Who says it has to be oil to hang on a wall? The CC license on this lets you do that. "Would I hang it on my wall?" is my main criterion for a saveMe.

I vote "yes" - I tried to find the sidewalk distracting or to need another color but couldn't. The shadow-shape is so clean and pleasing and those little squares with the dots are fabulous and the oddly new-looking rectangle of the mailbox all come together for one good image!
