Empty Benches

We've been collecting photos of empty benches and the views that they have been pointed at since our project Pleasant Land in 2003 [pleasantland.org].

The earlier [UK] photographs here inspired Off The White, a performance we made with Teatro Praga in 2007, whilst some of the others were taken in Portugal whilst making it.
