      Timmy still uses a pica pole for measuring SNOW. So hard to adjust to the conversion. I use one too. I mean, you can SAY that snow is 12 "inches" deep, but it doesn't really have the same resonance as "72.264 picas of snow," does it?

      i love this photo but i just wish i didnt have to live in it! we ended up with 20+ inches by now, right? its nice to look at and hear about but not when you are stuck inside all day :/ im glad the roads are clear today! :) #snowpocalypse

      @labelreader: I stopped measuring precipitation/sand/confetti/whisky in picas when I stopped doing paste-up. Still interesting to see them around, though.
