Setting the chain tension became a vital part of my morning ritual. This is in Waterton National Park on the last day of my trip. I rode straight to Winnipeg after - 1,325km! I arrived after dark and the campground was full. The park rangers wouldn't let me stay in the town, so I pulled in after everyone went to sleep, setup my tent in the middle of the campground, and packed up before anyone woke up. I got to camp for free and saw the most beautiful sunrise in the morning.
- North Face Mountain 25 tent - I've taken this to Iceland and all over Canada. It is the best tent I've ever encountered.
- 1974 Honda cb750 - bought for $400, fixed it up and rode it 6,500km. These bikes are incredible.
- bag full of tools and spare parts. amazingly the only tools I used the whole trip were the tools needed to set the chain tension and change the oil.
- the only modern item in your ensemble - holloway steve
