hey, I actually did the Yubeng trek in mid March. It's a truly amazing time to go as there is a ton of snow and you can still get around. The only problem is that you risk avalanches on a couple of the day trips. For instance, we wanted to go to the ice lake, but could only get so far as the avalanche risk was too high. Same with the sacred waterfall. We got close, but again, you could hear avalanches coming down from the mountains just ahead, and we saw evidence from downed trees where we were standing that there had been an avalanche just weeks prior.
