Car!? I can't find my bike! :-P

Gas by The Visions of Kai | The Magic of Love.
“Like this gas tank, you are overflowing with preconceptions, full of useless knowledge. You hold many facts and opinions, yet know little of yourself. Before you can learn, you'll have to first empty your tank.”

When I see prices like that I am glad that I don't have a car - subways and buses take me where I want to go. Your image and price comparison chart clearly illustrate the problem .Unfortunately we are all paying higher prices now not only for gas but for food as well - everything depends on transportation and transportation depends a lot on gas prices.

I think that the west is too addicted to cheap petroleum and driving.

A scary photo - just like the escalating fuel costs = rising food prices.
Think you have underestimated the UK costs - hit £5 per gallon last week - nearer 10 dollars.
As for food, we need to be eating more local produce (and producing more in our own back yards).
Tried to get local green beans this week in a UK supermarket and had the choice of fresh beans from Morocco, Egypt, Kenya and Guatemala -
think of the fuel involved there!

Great capture Kai portraying exactly how things are all over the world... Yup, the oil prices are a Disaster for everything and everyone. Than the question begs to be asked: Why in God's name are we still using cars that run on oil? And why haven't cars been build that can driver PERFECTLY on water for example? Answer: the car industry has done and does everything to PREVENT the building of such cars, and the inventors of these have been punished, destroyed, and their inventions - stolen and afterwards locked up.... yeah I know, some will say this is rubbish BUT IT ISN'T :S - too much business and big money are involved in Keeping us doing what we have always done, so that we are going right to the DOOM of our Earth and on living peacefully and happily from now on, without wars, without hatred, and without being overrun and commanded by the Big Money corporations and governments of the as..kissers of the Big Money that do rule the world...

What a cool pic!

As much as I drive around on the weekends with my camera - I need something better on gas than a Jeep.. it only gets 12 mpg - so ... I spent $50 a day for 3 days = $150.00 for a few shots of an eagles nest, baby eagles and some osprey... ~sigh~ but I sure love my pics! :)
