Esther, red hallway, Seattle Library

Seattle has a fabulous new Rem Koolhaas-designed downtown library. Level 4 has multiple meeting rooms, and is painted this vivid red.

I love that library, it's so over the top and audacious that I can't help loving it. This was one of my favorite parts of it, this photo really sells its weird beauty. Lovely dress!
