so i've posted this before, but now it has become more relevant since the senate has passed a bill giving the FDA powers to regulate tobacco. here is the NY Time Article.

seriously. i just watched a CNBC show on "Marijuana". in the documentary they used the term "Marijuana cigarettes". I was like, what is this? the 1930's? anyway they profiled the emerald triangle and Mendocino county. i guess, California got $11 million in sales tax from dispensaries in 2007. imagine if they legitimized it.
ugh, i just can't take it though when they interview cops who you know drank their asses off when they were younger (and probably still do) and they talk about weed like it's meth or cocaine. the truth is prescription Lipitor is far more dangerous to one's health than weed.
and, if Nevada has the right to legalize gambling and prostitution than why should California dispensaries have to fear the feds busting them. it's a state's right to regulate pot.
