Rievaulx Abbey, North Yorkshire

As a child I went to Abbey Middle school and our school sports teams were named after four of the most important Abbeys in Yorkshire. Thirty -three years after leaving the school and I ve managed to visit each Abbey from my childhood: Byland, Fountains. Rievaulx and Roche.
