This is a sad little tree behind a new shopping center in Frisco, Texas. We can thank thoughtful zoning rules and urban planning for this lovely scene. Everything was scraped away, paved and cemented, and then they made a little island for this pathetic tree.

Hi, I'm an admin for a group called Pax Arbora, and we'd love to have this added to the group! It's an artfully done example of the importance of root space.

Someday the little tree will grow large and the roots will rebel against
it's concrete jailor. Then little tree will be killed for hurting the beautiful landscaping.
