winter is not a happy time for me
i get depressed
i feel shut in
i am not a snow bunny

luckily this year has been mild
and i actually appreciate the little showings of snow

went to visit my buddy Theresa Rose
and upon leaving, everything was dipped in snow

love the contrast
just like life

and just as I got home,

I proceeded to hit another car at a stoplight

everyone was fine, but talk about a contrast to the tranquility of this shot.

emotion
i have so much of it
many times it gets me into trouble
i swim in it
i wallow in it
i share it
i exude it
i am consumed by it at times

but i live in it everyday

i was told that i was TOO emotional all my life

until he came along

my loving husband kent, who takes me as i am

all the crazy days
all the tears
the laughter
the heartache

he is there, holding me

and in that embrace

I find peace

the often overlooked
contains what we all need to see
how life is stitched together so beautifully
we get busy
life flies past
just take a moment
and see the simple joy
of what is right in front of you
