Alameda, CA - April 2010. Chato passed away in January of 2012, but I will always remember he and Birdie as such a wonderful team--they were great friends, and very amusing together because of their contrasting personalities. Their faces were the first things I saw in the morning, and I spent my day enjoying their adventures and mischief, until they drifted off to sleep on the couch at night.
